Generally speaking, there is no such thing as passive income. At least when it comes to real estate investing. People talk about it all the time on social media, and how it will allow you to “retire” and not have to work anymore. This is, generally speaking, not true. Unless you have great systems and know how to delegate. I was reflecting on my passive income sources:

1.    Recurring Software sales

2.     Texting fees within software

3.     Affiliate income

4.    Note investing

5.     Bitcoin

6.     Index funds

7.    Managed Airbnbs

8.    Realtor Referrals

DEALS! Off Market sales, Realtor Rob sales (representing investor buyer and sellers), and AI sales are most certainly active income, currently. We are always looking to systemize, streamline, and delegate. I’d also say the items bolded in the list still take an ample amount of management, and it takes a fair amount of time to create the next opportunity. I find the passive income to be the most fulfilling, and it allows me to feel like I can breathe. The basics are covered.

Really, don’t go into real estate investing thinking it will be completely passive; it won’t. To me, it seems like the best hope you can have is to find the right people with the right systems and delegate as much as possible to the team and empower them to do what they do best!
